Chittoor, A.P. India
Crusade Feb 2001 |
| |
| The first crusade in Chittor,
A. P. netted many souls for the Lord. Hundreds were baptized in the
Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues and many
were healed. The pastor of this church met me at Madras as we were
leaving the area with a report of these things that the Lord has done.
Pastor D. Roberts and his family took very good care of us while in
this area, feeding us so many good dishes. |
 |
Pastor D. R with the new refrigerator that Someone
To Care International Ministries has purchased for them. They have
never had a refrigerator and Rachel was so excited to be able to have
a way to keep the families food in a safe way. This was purchased
at a cost of $300.00 Many of the Lord's pastors and families in India
do not have such a luxury as we here in USA take for granted. This
pastor really worked hard to get this crusade set up for us. Keep
him in your prayers. |
 |
We held a three night Crusade
under this tent with open-air meetings. About 1500 to 2000 were in
attendance in the meetings. This is the first time in this area and
we look forward to bigger meetings here next year. |
 |
This is the hotel in Chittoor where
we stayed during this crusade. Mark Marshall Jr. from Bloomington,
IL and Sandy Wiebler from Bartonville IL. are standing in the entranceway
of the hotel. Sandy and Mark accompanied me and were a great help
in this ministry trip. We stay in three star hotels when possible.
They are not fancy, but are safe and if we need to order food, it
is usually OK for us to have. We are careful to eat only cooked foods
and drink bottled water. The first trip to India, you will really
be ready for something beside rice after the trip. This was my eighth
trip to India, and I have grown to really love the food, but I am
ready for a steak after returning to USA. We are so spoiled here,
but as Sandy kept saying, I don't mind. We have so much and they for
the most part have so little. |
